As is known, a linear actuator is an actuator that creates movement along an axis and which is therefore used in all those applications where linear movement is required. It is widely used in fields such as automation, automotive, valves, military, pharmaceutical, avionics and so on).
It can be of different types: mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electromechanical.
Each electromechanical linear actuator, in particular, is essentially composed of three parts: the electric motor, the planetary gearbox and the linear actuator assembly.
